Collier Co. Sheriff: Man arrested after firing gun at deputy

The Naples Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/1QZKrzc) that 31-year-old Brione Lamar Joiner was arrested Tuesday on several charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer, in connection with a November incident.

Detectives say the deputy was driving a marked sheriff's office SUV and tried to stop a Buick sedan for speeding on State Road 29 near Interstate 75.

After a lengthy investigation, detectives got a warrant for Joiner's arrest Tuesday and he was arrested without incident.
