Middle school teacher charged with sexually assaulting teen

The state attorney general's office says the 48-year-old Western Hills Middle School teacher assaulted a boy he knew between June 2003 and July 2004 in Cranston.

State police concluded that the alleged assaults weren't connected to Sheridan's role as a teacher and no other victims have been identified.
