Winners to be announced in $3 million college energy contest

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Three student-led teams from colleges and universities around New York state will win $1 million each for their proposals to harness renewable energy to power their campuses.

The "Energy to Lead" competition was open to student-led teams from all private and public colleges, though a faculty member was required to help coordinate the proposal.
