Police patrols increased after shooting at Haverhill park

(AP) — Police are stepping up patrols around a Haverhill park after two men were shot over the weekend on a basketball court adjacent to a baseball field where young teens were playing.

Parents pulled their children from the baseball field after the shots were fired around 4 p.m. The two victims were taken to area hospitals in unknown condition.
