Bogut starts, but effectiveness is limited

Bogut, listed as questionable in advance of Monday night’s Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, took his customary spot in the starting lineup.

Bogut strained his right adductor (near his hip) in the first half Wednesday night against Portland and was unable to return to Game 5 of the conference semifinals.

Midway through the first quarter, he went up for an offensive rebound and inadvertently (or so it seemed) hit Russell Westbrook in the face.

Even with Bogut back in the fold, the Warriors expect to use several big men in this series.
