One of China's biggest homebuilders aims at tower in Seattle

Officials at Walnut Creek, Calif.-based Laconia Development say it isn't clear yet how big of an equity partner the Chinese company would be in the $200 million project.

The Chinese company has invested in other U.S. markets, including San Francisco and New York.
