Composers, Inc. spotlights local student winner

For many young composers, writing the music is only half the battle — the rest is getting performers to bring it before a listening audience.

The venerable new-music ensemble Composers, Inc., has been helping to address the issue by sponsoring a competition for student composers and putting the winning works on their concert programs.
