Music Director Luisotti won’t renew with SF Opera
Nicola Luisotti will step down as the San Francisco Opera’s music director when his contract expires at the end of the 2017-18 season.
Luisotti currently holds no other conducting position, but is often in demand internationally as a guest conductor.
Luisotti made his company debut in 2005, leading superb performances of Verdi’s “La Forza del Destino.”
