Fundraiser eyed to replace Indiana mansion's slate roof

(AP) — A 19th century mansion that's one of Kokomo's most iconic buildings is getting a fundraiser for an estimated $500,000 project to replace its slate roof.

The Howard County Historical Society will host a May 26 open house at the Seiberling Mansion to announce the group's capital campaign for the 1891 home.
