Metra restarts work on extending service to Kendall County

CHICAGO (AP) — Metra officials say they'll resume work on a possible extension of the suburban Chicago commuter rail service into Kendall County after getting support from local government leaders.

The agency says it doesn't have money to pay for construction, and that local residents would have to cover most costs.
