Carl Sandburg College drafts budget with little state aid

(AP) — Carl Sandburg College officials have drafted a budget for the coming school year that relies on virtually no funding from Illinois lawmakers still embroiled in the state's budget stalemate.

Blake says that came primarily from cutting its adult education services, extension center buildings and the staff associated with those programs.
