Livingston shrugs off return of referee Scott Foster

OKLAHOMA CITY - Warriors guard Shaun Livingston was sitting on the bench after Sunday morning’s shootaround, a bag of ice strapped to his knee, when he was told Scott Foster is one of the referees for Game 3 against Oklahoma City.

Foster quickly and theatrically ejected Livingston from Game 4 of Golden State’s second-round series against Portland, after Livingston vehemently argued a non-call.

In fairness, replays showed Livingston tossing in a vulgarity after Foster hit him with technical foul No. 1.

[...] maybe the ejection was warranted, but Foster’s swift action and animated manner didn’t sit well with many Warriors fans.

The ejection on May 9 was the first of his 11-year career; he now has played in 679 NBA games, including the playoffs.
