Letters to the Editor, May 23
Watching the video of The Chronicle’s editorial board interview with Sen. Bernie Sanders, I was staggered to hear Sanders admit he did not know that Wells Fargo Bank was one of the top five big banks in America.
Because he’s based his campaign on “breaking up the big banks,” his response to staff questions clearly demonstrates Sanders may indeed be full of rhetoric and very little knowledge.
Maybe if Sanders were not visiting San Francisco, corporate home of Wells Fargo Bank, his ignorance might not have been so glaring, but it’s impossible to take the man seriously if he doesn’t even know which banks are considered too big to fail.
There would be separate bathrooms for fundamentalist Christians, moderate Christians, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, atheists, agnostics and other.
Remove that, put up a sign that just says “Restroom,” and then anyone can use the facility no matter what race, color, creed, religion or gender is involved.
How come we haven’t heard anything about these “Unisex” facilities?
