Elevated lead levels found in some North Thurston schools

The Olympian reports (http://bit.ly/1XLM3Wx ) that the North Thurston Public School District said in a press release Thursday that it found lead in sinks, faucets and drinking water fountains.

District spokeswoman Courtney Schrieve says families and staff members at those schools have been notified and the affected water fixtures have been shut off.
