University of Michigan progressing on fundraising campaign

(AP) — University of Michigan officials say roughly 7,000 donors in southeastern Michigan have contributed about $36 million this fiscal year to a multi-year fundraising campaign.

The university says donations were made for scholarships, fellowships, internships and global study.
