Child struck and killed by car in SF’s Bayview

A child was struck and killed by a vehicle in San Francisco this afternoon, police said.

The fatal incident was reported around 1:30 p.m. on Reuel Court in the city’s Bayview neighborhood, said Officer Giselle Talkoff, a spokeswoman for the San Francisco Police Department. The child was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Police said the incident did not appear to be a hit and run. No other information was immediately available.
