Black Lives Matter in Starbucks orders; Buffett’s bit donation
Some Starbucks customers have been giving their name to baristas as “Black Lives Matter” in an effort to help spread awareness of the movement.
Lex Cross posted a picture of his Starbucks receipt with the name #blacklivesmatter on Facebook, writing that he changed his name on the Starbucks app, “so the barista has to shout it to a room full of people” when his order is ready.
The post has been shared 50,000 times and several other social media users have followed suit.
More than 19.6 million Class B Berkshire shares were donated.
Buffett also gave Class B Berkshire shares to his own foundation and to the foundations run by each of his three children.
