Pats’ Brady drops appeal; Miller gets record deal

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said Friday that he will not ask the U.S. Supreme Court to block his four-game “Deflategate” suspension, ending his fight in a scandal that tested the power of the NFL commissioner and tarnished the reputation of one of the sport’s greatest players.

Pro Bowl defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson agreed to a five-year, $85 million extension with the New York Jets, a deal that reportedly guarantees him $54 million in the first three seasons.
