Report: Warriors want $15 million for jersey ad

Nike takes over as the NBA’s apparel maker after next season, and the league approved a three-year pilot program allowing teams to sell 2½-inch by 2½-inch patches on the upper left of jerseys, opposite what will be a swoosh from Nike.

Nance played Thursday in an 88-80 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Las Vegas during the NBA Summer League, getting injured with only seconds remaining.

Jesse Mermuys, the team’s coach in the Summer League, said in a story posted on the Lakers’ website that if it’s not great news, he’s a great kid and a hard worker.

The Orlando Magic have acquired third-year guard C.J. Wilcox and cash from the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Devyn Marble and a future second-round draft pick.

Wilcox, who appeared in 23 games last season for the Clippers, averaged 3.0 points while shooting 39 percent from three-point range.

The 6-foot-5 Wilcox was a first-round draft pick (28th overall) of the Clippers in 2014 out of Washington.

Wilcox finished his collegiate career as Washington’s all-time leading three-point shooter with 301 made.
