Dog found in hot vehicle in New Hampshire; owner charged

HOOKSETT, N.H. (AP) — State Police say they've charged a woman with animal cruelty after she left her dog locked inside a hot vehicle at a rest area on Interstate 93.

Troopers responding to a complaint Friday afternoon found the chocolate Labrador Retriever in an SUV with the windows rolled up and the engine turned off.
