Kansas City rebate brings actor home to make a movie
(AP) — A feature film written by a Kansas City area native has been awarded the city's first $60,000 rebate under a new incentive program.
Under the program, a specified portion of the money spent in the city to make a film is returned to the production.
Scupham said the rebate program doesn't have to go to only feature films and also applies to TV productions, short films, music videos and advertising.
