New Orleans police add 26 recruits from training academy

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The New Orleans Police Department says 26 more recruits have graduated from the police training academy as the city continues efforts to beef up the force.

The chief's association says on its website that the program deals with modern behavioral science concepts and theories tailored to law enforcement.
