A’s catcher Josh Phegley is on the mend

Oakland still has a packed disabled list, but catcher Josh Phegley is getting closer to resuming baseball activity after knee surgery.

[...] baseman Eric Sogard is increasing his activity level after his April 20 knee surgery but he isn’t expected back until mid to late August at the earliest.

First baseman-outfielder Mark Canha, who had season-ending hip surgery, is moving around well and feeling good as he strengthens the hip and leg; he will be 100 percent for spring training.
