A cold frontal boundary associated with this system will stretch southwestward from the upper Mississippi Valley to the central Rockies.

Prolonged heavy rain will bring threats of flash flooding to southeast Nebraska, northeast Kansas, southern Iowa, northern Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, southeast Michigan and western Ohio.
