Bystander rescues distressed father and son at state park

Westport police and state environmental conservation police were called to the scene Sunday afternoon but 31-year-old Shuja Nagi and his son were already safely ashore.

Divers and marine units from Westport, Fairfield and Norwalk searched the Long Island Sound for the other swimmer but came up empty.
