3 restored Frederick Wiseman docs at YBCA
Frederick Wiseman’s documentary career is a half-century old, and he’s as relevant as ever.
Yerba Buena Center for the Arts is celebrating Wiseman, 86, with restorations of three of his early films: “Titicut Follies” (1967), which takes us inside a prison for the criminally insane; “High School” (1968); and “Hospital” (1970).
All are on black-and-white 35mm prints.
