Cedar Rapids principal resigns amid questions about teacher

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — The longtime principal of a Cedar Rapids high school has resigned following questions about his response to an incident involving a substitute teacher charged with having sexual contact with a student.

Plagman says in a statement that he's leaving the position at the request of school district officials.
