SC State president to receive $230K salary, $25K for housing

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The new president of South Carolina State University will be paid a $230,000 salary, with 85 percent of that coming from state taxes.

The State newspaper reports Tuesday (http://bit.ly/2atRo0Y ) the Agency Head Salary Commission approved a $195,000 salary and $25,000 yearly housing allowance for President James Clark.
