6 women rescued after kayaks, canoe capsize in rough water
BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Police say six women have been safely pulled from the water in a New Jersey state park after their kayaks and canoe capsized.
Berkeley Township Police Chief Karin DiMichele tells NJ.com (http://bit.ly/2auxzXE ) that the women placed four single-person kayaks and a two-person canoe into the water in Double Trouble State Park on Tuesday and the boats quickly capsized in the rough and fast-moving current.
