Florida gas station clerk shot while trying to stop robbery

(AP) — Authorities say a central Florida gas station employee was shot in the torso when he tried to stop an armed robbery.

Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Yuri Melich tells the Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/2aNaiBF ) a man wearing a hoodie demanded money from the clerk at a Citgo gas station Tuesday night.
