Chronicle’s Outside Lands coverage

Outside Lands returns for its ninth year, bringing LCD Soundsystem, Duran Duran (with Simon Le Bon, above), Radiohead, Lionel Richie and many more acts to Golden Gate Park starting Friday, Aug. 5.

The sold-out event boasts of being the “world’s only gourmet music festival,” showcasing local wineries and breweries as well Bay Area culinary culture. The comedy lineup at the Barbary stage, co-curated by SF Sketchfest, includes some of the funniest comics in the industry.
