Kansas Endowment takes in $1.66B in fundraising campaign

(AP) — The University of Kansas Endowment Association says it raised more than $1.6 billion in its five-year fundraising campaign.

The Lawrence Journal-World reports (http://j.mp/2aRqGBF ) that the endowment says the money will help fund several new buildings or campus renovations, as well as new professorships and 735 new scholarships and fellowships.
