Music promoter charged in LA Coliseum scam avoids jail

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A music festival promoter charged in a $1.8 million bribery scheme involving the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has avoided jail.

Prosecutors contend that Rotella and others were involved in a bribery and kickback scheme involving low-balled Coliseum contracts that cost the historic venue millions.
