Weather at Outside Lands calls for layers — and lots of ‘em
Locals already know summer in San Francisco means Karl the Fog is almost always the third wheel, ever looming, giving you chills and blocking the sun’s kisses no matter who you’re with.
The forecast for the three-day festival at Golden Gate Park calls for patchy fog and drizzle, with some sunny breaks during the day.
“Bring layers of clothes — you’re going to need ‘em,” advises Gregg Perloff of Another Planet Entertainment, which co-produces Outside Lands, during a preview of the festival grounds Thursday afternoon where it was about 63 degrees and misty.
Thank goodness for the festival’s star-studded lineup, which includes Major Lazer, Grimes and Snakehips, expected to keep most music lovers warm during stage-side dance parties.
