Service, burial slated for slain San Diego police officer

(AP) — A San Diego police officer who was fatally shot in the driver's seat of his patrol car after his partner approached a man on the street will be buried Friday.

The service at Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon will follow a procession of law enforcement vehicles from San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium and include aircraft, bagpipes and a 21-gun salute.
