FedEx promises $5M to help expand Pittsburgh science museum

The Carnegie Science Center said Wednesday the gift is part of a campaign launched two years ago to more than double the center's educational space and expand its science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programming.

The Pittsburgh Tribune Review reports plans include adding a science pavilion, which will house the FedEx STEM Learning Labs and a special exhibitions gallery.
