Security guard shot multiple times outside Atlanta

NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) — Police say a security guard at an extended stay hotel near Atlanta has been shot multiple times.

Gwinnett County police say the guard was shot Thursday morning at the Norcross Extended Stay and taken to a hospital, where he underwent surgery and his medical status was "critical."
