In Kenya, Zuckerberg ‘deeply disappointed’ over SpaceX blast
[...] Thursday morning’s SpaceX rocket explosion had to at least taint Zuckerberg’s visit, as the blast included a satellite that was intended to beam Internet service to sub-Saharan Africa as part of a collaboration between Facebook and Eutelsat to connect people in remote parts of the world.
“As I’m here in Africa, I’m deeply disappointed to hear that SpaceX’s launch failure destroyed our satellite that would provided connectivity to so many entrepreneurs and everyone else across the continent,” Zuckerberg said in a post Thursday.
