Arkansas State University names Whitlock interim chancellor

(AP) — Arkansas State University System President Charles Welch has named a former president of Eastern Kentucky University as interim chancellor.

Whitlock replaces Tim Hudson, who resigned in August after internal audits criticized the school's study abroad program run by Hudson's wife.
