Mother's efforts bring cameras to special-needs classrooms
KELLER, Texas (AP) — A North Texas mother's efforts to get school districts to install cameras in classrooms with special-needs students in order to increase safety are finally seeing success.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports (http://bit.ly/2ctfXNY ) Breggett Rideau had lobbied the Texas Legislature to require school districts around the state to install and operate video cameras in some special education classrooms if requested by parents, a trustee or a staff member.
