49ers release TE Bruce Miller after arrest for assault, elder abuse in San Francisco

The San Francisco 49ers released tight end Bruce Miller after he was arrested early Monday morning following an incident at a Fisherman's Wharf hotel. San Francisco police confirmed reports that Miller was arrested early Monday morning on aggravated assault and elder abuse charges stemming from an incident at the Marriott Hotel at Columbus Ave. and Bay Street.
