With four weeks of fall TV in the books, TheWrap IDs each broadcaster’s top- and bottom-ranked entertainment series

TheWrap has identified the top- and bottom-rated entertainment TV show on each of the five English-language broadcast networks to this point.

All ratings in this post come from Nielsen’s “most current” data stream, which includes a week’s worth of delayed viewing where available.

There’s actually a two-way tie at the top between CBS’ hit sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” and Fox’s hip-hop soap opera, “Empire.”

CW is bringing up the rear with the “MADtv” experiment, which has been a clear failure among those aged 18-49, the key demographic for broadcast primetime, which is what we used.
