Oasis snubbed 'Trainspotting' because band thought it was about train spotting

The rock band Oasis, Britain's hottest act in the late 1990s and early 2000s, turned down a chance to be on the soundtrack of the movie "Trainspotting" because band members thought it was about railroad buffs.
