South Carolina sheriff's deputy wounds armed suspect

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — A South Carolina sheriff's deputy has shot and wounded a suspect who deputies say moved toward them with a knife.

Greenville County sheriff's spokesman Ryan Flood said in a statement that deputies were called to the office of a nonprofit Tuesday to search for a person with outstanding warrants.
