Overturned big rig on Hwy. 101 in San Jose snarls traffic
An overturned big rig blocked southbound lanes on Highway 101 and an on-ramp from Interstate 880 in San Jose Tuesday morning snarling traffic for several hours, officials said.
Police received reports of the overturned big rig at 10:30 a.m., said Officer Ross Lee of the California Highway Patrol.
The truck driver was going southbound on Interstate 880 to southbound Highway 101 when his truck suddenly overturned on the transition ramp, Lee said.
The crash blocked the ramp and four southbound lanes of Highway 101, Lee said.
