Warriors’ Steve Kerr impressed by Clippers
Between his own team’s games and practices, Steve Kerr has caught the Clippers a couple times on NBA League Pass. The Clippers, riding a six-game winning streak, boast the league’s best record at 9-1. To cobble together its best start in franchise history, L.A. has finally started pairing potent offense with stingy defense. Though the sample size is small, L.A. has shown that its 45-point preseason loss at Oracle Arena might have been an aberration. Four days after Dallas’ Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes saw their former team at Oracle, another key member of the Warriors’ 2015 NBA-title-winning squad — Leandro Barbosa — has returned to his old home arena. In July, after the Warriors added Durant, he signed a two-year, $8 million deal with the Suns.
