Teachers strike in northeastern Pennsylvania school district

Superintendent Thomas Duffy plans to meet with state education officials Monday to determine how long the strike can last.

The teachers' union has agreed to let coaches and teachers continue to perform other extracurricular roles, so sports will continue and club activities may on a case-by-case basis depending on the wishes of their faculty advisers.
