University of Michigan to honor the Rev. Jesse Jackson

(AP) — The University of Michigan is scheduled to honor the Rev. Jesse Jackson for his five decades of fighting for civil rights.

The school says the founder of Operation PUSH will share his reflections on the just-completed U.S. presidential race and the future of the struggle for economic, political and social justice.
