Rex Navarrete graduated from San Francisco State University and received a master’s degree from UC Berkeley.

Navarrete is known as a groundbreaking Filipino American comedian, getting his start in the late 1980s and releasing comedy albums and DVDs including “Badly Browned” and “Hella Pinoy.”
