Regents announce Mark Nook as new UNI president
Mark Nook will lead Iowa's third-largest university, known for its education programs and persistent budget challenges.
Nook will assume his new position on Feb. 1 and will receive a three-year contract with an annual salary of $357,110, a news release from the university said.
Prior to serving as the MSU-Billings chancellor, Nook was senior vice president for academic and student affairs at the University of Wisconsin from 2011-2014.
